Abstract
This talk focuses on an original framework for the stability and convergence analysis of implicit and implicit-explicit variable-step BDF3 schemes for linear and nonlinear parabolic equations. Under the new improved ratio restriction, robust stability and optimal error estimates utilizing a concise energy method in an abstract setting are obtained. The proposed framework is applicable to a wide range of nonlinear parabolic equations and demonstrates a promising approach for higher-order linear multi-step methods with variable step-sizes.

赵璇,东南大学数学学院副教授,博导。研究方向为微分方程数值解,目前关注非线性相场-流场模型时间高阶自适应算法与分析、高维数据自适应智能计算方法,在SIAM J. Sci. Comput,SIAM J. Numer. Anal., J. Comput. Phys,CMAME,IEEE Trans.等期刊上发表多篇论文。
