On 8 November 2020, BNU-UIC Research Center for Mathematics holds a symposium with professors from the Department of Mathematics of Southern University of Science and Technology and signed a cooperation agreement.

Both parties shared their professional opinions about applied mathematics, financial mathematics and statistics and wished to further enhance and deepen the cooperation between the two parties.

Before the end of the symposium, the two parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding to promote the cooperation. The cooperation is expected to cover the following areas of partnership: workshops, collaborative research, exchange of research students, exchanges visits for junior researchers and senior researchers.
